WHY COME TO SCAMHATERS UNITED? 

We know of an anti-scam group who 'interviews' victims when they come to them for help. 

Interviews them to see 'if they are suitable'.... (and yes we have proof)

Many are refused help ! HOW? 

We care passionately about the welfare and wellbeing of victims and we know the vital importance of becoming a Survivor. 

We have Survivors here who help others to show you that there is life, a safe life, after having your lives touched by the dreadful shadow of the Scammer, the fake, the criminal. 

We are  a 'mixed bag' group! Some are ex-victims, VITAL to actually learn from them about

the emotions, the roller coaster the scam brings. Then the inspiration of their Survival. 

Some of us are those who found out about scams and like myself were so concerned and caring  we wanted to so something about it. 

Don't let the scars of your scam carry over on to your recovery. 

We are public in who we are, you have seen our faces, we don't hide. 

We don't dig up the past... we help point you to a safe and

As I have grey hair and Widow on my profile I am a perfect scammer target. 

THIS HAS TO BE ACCEPTED ! I refuse video calls.. too easy to fake (and they are not getting me on video! ) but a Voice Call... 

something they can't so easily disguise. 

THIS SCAMMER WAS PRETENDING TO BE 

a DOCTOR.. 

Doctors are some of the most Educated and Intelligent people we know. 

THIS BOZO WAS TRYING TO BE A DOCTOR.. 

He as only a Nigerian scammer with a bad temper.

BEWARE THOSE VIDEO CHATS! 

THIS IS A REAL VIDEO CHAT:

The video chat needs to last longer than 15 minutes.

Have them wave to you, give a thumbs up, and hold 2 fingers.

Because of the deep fake technology, ask them to turn their head from side to side.

Ask them direct questions and get direct answers, and make sure the mouth and words match.

They must be in full view the whole time.

There should be no technical difficulties, which means you can hear each other and see each other clearly the whole time.

You must ask them to do this!

Then and only then will you know it is real.

NOTE: A video chat can be faked unless these guidelines are followed.

FAKE ACCOUNTS

Things to look for:

 Name:

• URL/Name do not match

Ex: https://www.facebook.com/chikowa.adekoye vs. John Hancock

• Two different names

Ex: Chikowa Adekoye (John Hancock)

• Two first or last names

Ex: Smith Jones, Williams Jones, David Mark, Lucas David

• Surname first

Ex: Jones Mark, Williams Mark

• Name change – Self explanatory

 Bio:

• God fearing

• Am Humble

• Single father to lovely daughter/son

• Looking for my soul mate

• Am new her

• Peacekeeping Mission

• United Nations

• Oil/Gas/ship engineer, etc.

 Photos (Always do a reverse image search):

• No profile photo

• Single profile picture

• Celebrity photos

• Photo too perfect

 Place or Job:

• Workplace/job

• Where are they from?

• Where are they now?

• Are they working abroad?

 Timeline:

• Bible/Positive quotes

• Flowers/chocolates

• If a military account, shows photos of war or military trainings

• Too many posts in a short time period

• Shares activities:

• Traveling

• Cooking

• Workouts

• Music

• Etc.

 Friend and followers:

• Same surname (family)

• Same city

• Same school

• Too many friends

• No friends

 Activity:

• Not many likes

• Generic comments

• Most likes/comments: All male/female

• Lack of interaction

 For your safety:

• Stop and access each account

• Validate everything

 Be carful:

• Stranger + Danger = Scam

• Always watch for the red flags
