Sending compromising photos to someone you just met online can pose serious risks.
They may misuse or distribute the images without your consent, leading to privacy violations, harassment, or even blackmail. Once shared, it's challenging to control the dissemination of such content, potentially causing long-term consequences for your personal and professional life. Always prioritize your safety and think twice before sharing sensitive images with anyone online.
🚩🚩🚩 Red flags when interacting with someone online include:
✅ Too Quick Intimacy
If they push for personal or intimate details too soon, be cautious.
✅ Refusal to Share Information
If they are secretive about themselves while prying into your life, it's a warning sign.
✅ Inconsistent Stories
Watch for discrepancies in their stories or information that doesn't add up.
✅ Avoids Face-to-Face Interaction
If they consistently avoid video calls or in-person meetings, it could be suspicious.
✅ Pressuring or Manipulative Behavior
Be wary if they pressure you into doing things or exhibit manipulative behavior.
✅ Unwillingness to Verify Identity
If they avoid proving their identity through various means, it's a concern.
✅ Too Good to Be True
If their persona or life seems overly perfect, it might be a facade.
Always trust your instincts and prioritize your safety. If something feels off, take it seriously and consider ending the interaction.
STAY SAFE AND INFORMED.

It’s not safe to be on social media. Scammers lurk anywhere there is internet access. Anywhere they can INITIATE contact. Please help spread the word.

If you have elderly relatives.. take an interest in who they are talking to. Criminals are out to hunt them and scam them,

We get so many over 80's opening accounts for their online love.
Taking in money and putting it into Bitcoin...
Don't assume they don't know how!

Believe us.. they learn very quickly.

THIS IS MONEY LAUNDERING.

But if your elderly relative is texting and being a little furtive...
CHECK ON THEM PLEASE...

It's saving a life...

WELCOME TO DECEMBER ISSUE OF ScamHaters United E-MAGAZINE

WELCOME TO DECEMBER ISSUE OF

ScamHaters United  E-MAGAZINE

All of us at ScamHaters United want to wish

ALL OF YOU.. EVERYWHERE IN THE WORLD

A MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
12 Days of Christmas Facebook gave to me:
12 Friend requests: Do not accept friend requests from anyone you do not personally know. It is not
safe. There are many fake accounts on social media. We teach our children about “stranger danger”, we
need to follow the same rules on social media. Just because there is a screen between you and the other
person, that does not mean it is safe.
11 Hello pretties: Anyone that sends you a message that says “hello pretty” or anything similar, will
ALWAYS be a fraudster hiding behind stolen photos. Although, keep in mind, these fraudsters will try to
scam as themselves.
10 Want to know you more betters: So, you received a message from a stranger and they “want to know
you more better”, this is still a scammer. Most people do not use that phrase. The normal phrase would
be, “I would like to get to know you better”.
9 Military Generals: No real military General is on social media looking for friends or a relationship. Due
to their high security clearance, this is not feasible at all. They do not need money, they will not tell you
where they are deployed, and they will not ask you to fill out any retirement or leave forms for them.
8 Orthopedic surgeons: Orthopedic surgeon, military surgeon doctor, UN doctor, these are the common
doctor descriptions used by scammers. No real doctor is going to tell you they are on a peacekeeping
mission with the UN. In fact, a real doctor has a job and they do not have time to chat. They will not be
randomly contacting strangers on social media.
7 Oil rig engineers: Also called “marine engineers” will not be contacting you looking for a relationship.
They are not under contract and do not need you to pay for equipment parts or to fly them off the oil rig
or ship.
6 Am real babes: “Am real babe” is just a way to try to convince their clients they are real. They through
in some other pretty phrases so that you will fall for their lies.
5 Am love you my queen: Anyone that falls in love with you quickly and wants a relationship, will
ALWAYS be fake. My queen, babe, dear, honey, and other endearments are used to try to make you feel
special and like you are the only one in the world to them. Keep in mind, they are doing copy and paste
with these pretty words, to 50 or more clients at a time. They use these endearments, so they do not
have to remember your name. Once you move to a chat app, you are just a client, and their end goal is
to get money.
4 Age is just a number: If you are 60 and they are 30, or you are 80 and they are 20 or more years
younger than you, this is a fantasy, and they will say “age is just a number”. Can you honestly picture a
60-year-old on a honeymoon with a 25-year-old. Unless you are rich and they are looking for a sugar
momma or sugar daddy, this will never happen. If a person contacts you on social media and they are
not what would normally talk to you in person or ask you on a date, this will never happen.
3 Requests for money: No one in real life will ever ask you for money unless it is family in a really bad
situation. No one should have to pay for love. You are worth more than that. Even if they are in a
relationship and want you to invest in bitcoin, this is another type of scam called “pig butchering”. So
think twice before you send money. You will NEVER get it back.
2 Fake IDs: This is a way they will try to prove they are real. Send a passport or a driver’s license, maybe
a military ID. The military are not allowed to show their ID to strangers online. The ID is used to get on
base and access the commissary or BX. They are also used in getting Veteran’s benefits at the VA.
Another question, would you send your passport or ID to a total stranger? It is dangerous to give out
your ID or any personal information.
1 Soldier hiding in a tree: This is a running joke with the admins of ScamHaters United. There was one
soldier that was hiding, in a tree, from the “Talibans” in Afghanistan. Of course, they wanted
money/cards to charge their internet. But how would they go about getting access to money or cards
while hiding in the tree? Another thought, how would they even charge their phone? Did the tree have
an outlet for this?
A PROMISE TO COME HOME FOR CHRISTMAS
Romance scammers often use holidays like Thanksgiving or Christmas as part of their tactics
because these occasions carry strong emotional significance for many people. Promising to be
home for the holidays creates a sense of intimacy and connection, which can make victims feel
more emotionally invested in the scammer. Scammers prey on the desire for companionship
during these special times, manipulating emotions to gain trust and ultimately financial or
personal information. It’s essential to be cautious and verify the identity of individuals you
meet online, especially if they make such promises.
Romance scammers can use various excuses when they cannot make it home for Thanksgiving
or Christmas. Some common excuses include:
πŸ‘‰ Work-related: They may claim they have urgent work commitments, such as a sudden
business trip or a crucial project deadline that prevents them from traveling.
πŸ‘‰ Health issues: Scammers might say they’re facing unexpected health problems or
medical emergencies that require them to stay where they are.
πŸ‘‰Legal issues: They could mention legal troubles or issues with their visa or immigration
status, making travel impossible.
πŸ‘‰ Financial difficulties: Scammers may state that they lack the funds to travel, citing
financial challenges, lost wallets, or stolen money.
πŸ‘‰Family emergencies: They might claim that a family member is critically ill or has passed
away, requiring them to stay with their family during the holidays.
πŸ‘‰ Transportation problems: They could say that they missed their flight or encountered
unexpected travel complications that prevent them from coming home.
πŸ‘ΏπŸ‘Ώ
These excuses are designed to elicit sympathy and understanding from their targets, making it
more likely for victims to continue the relationship and possibly offer financial assistance. It’s
crucial to be cautious and verify information if someone you’ve met online provides such
excuses, especially if you’ve never met them in person.
Various sources researched and ChatGBT used to write article.
LOOK AT THESE FACES...
Really LOOK.... Because these men and THOUSANDS like them have had their identity STOLEN and they can do nothing about it.
They are SUFFERING because of scammers using them. Their relatives are SUFFERING AND WHY??
Because they get HUNDREDS OF WOMEN CONTACTING THEM... every week.. sometimes every day?
'THEY KNOW'.. they don't need to be told.
IT IS NOT THEM .. you do not need to accuse.
DO YOU TRULY THINK CONTACTING THEIR FAMILY IS OK?
It very much is not.
So please... LET THIS STOP.. The scam is between you and your cyber criminal happily spending you money on clothes, cars and gold....
NOT WITH THE MEN USED.
Also don't forget. If you have been in a scam and your scammer has pictures of YOU.. they will use you too. Marketplace scams, fake puppy scams, fake lottery scams, fake job scams. ALL WHERE THEY NEED PICTURES TO MAKE FAKE PROFILES FOR
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Going into 2024 we see scams get worse, we see Governments and Social Media Platforms doing less. THIS HAS TO CHANGE.
Only by us ALL coming together to give out awareness will this awful crime even lessen.

πŸ’”S.C.A.M.S. STOP, CHECK AND MAKE SURE

//(*_*)\\ Don't become a Victim ‹(•¿•)>

πŸ‘ΉBe SMARTER than the SCAMMERS

NEVER ACCEPT A FRIEND OR FOLLOW REQUEST FROM A STRANGER! 🐍
@username accounts are ALWAYS FAKE ACCOUNTS.

πŸ‘ΏYOU ARE NOT SPEAKING TO THE PERSON IN THE ACCOUNT.JUST TO A CRIMINAL ON A LAPTOP

πŸ‘ŽNEVER EVER SEND *ANYTHING* TO ANYONE YOU HAVE NEVER MET IN PERSON. IT IS ALWAYS A SCAM. Never accept money on behalf of anyone you have never met. YOU ARE COMMITTING A CRIME.

πŸ€”ALWAYS SEARCH ON IMAGES.. FACECHECK ID is best of the free ones, Yandex and TinEye and Pimeyes but this one is not free. But plenty to free search... USE IT

DO NOT FIND AND CONTACT THE MEN IN THE PICTURES.
THEY ARE INNOCENT AND VICTIMS TOO
